What is Whisper?
A one-to-one messaging app built around the iPhone Home Screen. You pair with people you choose, then exchange photos, voice notes, videos and text without joining a public feed.

How it works
A whisper, start to finish.
The tile below runs the same states your Home Screen will, one beat at a time, as you scroll.

It waits quietly.
Paired and idle. Their face on your Home Screen, no badge, no ring. There is nothing to catch up on, and the tile says exactly that.

Something arrives.
A photo, a voice note, a few words. One cream chip appears on their avatar. No preview, no sender text, nothing readable from across a room.

You open it.
One tap goes straight to the whisper. No inbox, no thread to scroll back through. You look at it once, the way you would look at a person.

Seen once, then gone.
The chip clears and the whisper is erased from our servers rather than filed away, so there is nothing left to scroll back through later.

Five whispers can be in the air at once, and each one lights a segment of the ring. A full ring means you have said everything you can until they look.
One tile
Keep your person on your Home Screen.
Pair with more than one person and they share a single tile. Every cell is saying something different here, and none of it needs the app open.

Privacy
What we can’t see.
Most apps tell you what they protect. It is more useful to know what they never hold in the first place.

Your phone number
Whisper never asks for it, so it cannot be leaked, sold, or used to find you.

Your contacts
Your address book is never read. There is no search and no suggested people. Someone reaches you by typing a six digit code you handed them yourself.

Your messages
Photos, video, voice and text are encrypted on your device before they leave it. The keys are generated there and never uploaded. We hold ciphertext we cannot open.

Your history
A whisper is erased from our servers once it has been seen, or after seven days, whichever comes first, which leaves no archive for anyone to breach later.

Why a widget?
Because a message from someone close should not have to compete with a timeline. Whisper lets that small moment live where you already look: your Home Screen.
How private is it?
Messages and media are end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device. They are deleted after your pair views them, or after one week, whichever comes first. Lula Apps cannot read them.

When can I get it?
Whisper is still being prepared for the App Store. There is no download link yet. Stay tuned here for the release.
