It starts with six digits.
There is no search here, and no suggested people. You pair by handing someone a code, out loud or in a message, and that is the only way anyone reaches you.

The widget is the app. Their face sits between your other icons, and everything below this line happens without you opening anything.

Say something.
A photo, a voice note, a few words. One segment of the ring lights. Five whispers can be in the air at once, and a full ring means you have said everything you can until they look.

They looked.
The ring clears. Your whisper is erased from our servers rather than filed away, so there is nothing left for either of you to scroll back through.

They answer.
Their words take the place of their name, a heart marks the reply, and a chip counts what is still waiting. Nothing on the tile is readable from across a room.

Their reply opens to a single field. You answer, the heart clears, and the whisper they sent is still waiting for you.

Seen once, then gone.
One tap goes straight to it. You look the way you would look at a person, once, and then the tile is quiet and you are back where you started.
Privacy
What we can’t see.
Most apps tell you what they protect. It is more useful to know what they never hold in the first place.

Your phone number
Whisper never asks for it, so it cannot be leaked, sold, or used to find you.

Your contacts
Your address book is never read. There is no search and no suggested people. Someone reaches you by typing a six digit code you handed them yourself.

Your messages
Photos, video, voice and text are encrypted on your device before they leave it. The keys are generated there and never uploaded. We hold ciphertext we cannot open.

Your history
A whisper is erased from our servers once it has been seen, or after seven days, whichever comes first, which leaves no archive for anyone to breach later.

Why a widget?
Because a message from someone close should not have to compete with a timeline. Whisper lets that small moment live where you already look: your Home Screen.
How private is it?
Messages and media are end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device. They are deleted after your pair views them, or after one week, whichever comes first. Lula Apps cannot read them.

When can I get it?
Whisper has been submitted to the App Store and is going through Apple's review. There is no download link yet. This page gets one the day it goes live.
